Rescued Thoroughbreds

Progress since March 2006

This is the story: When Holly was looking for a horse, I told her about two thoroughbreds for sale in the local paper. When she called the owners they told her they were too underweight to be ridden. The next day we went to look at them and I told Holly before we went that if they were as bad as I thought they might be, we would just buy them right then and there. And so we did. We were not set up for horses yet, but I knew we could give them better care than they were getting. They are both registered Thoroughbreds who've been on the track. Trace, Rick's horse, is 9 years old. Clover, Holly's horse, is 5 years old. They are making great progress. The following photos show their progress.
